Our workshop with Sean Fitzmaurice and Steph Davis of
Soundscape Music was so much fun! We had 27 participants and it was a blast!

"It was a fantastic workshop and I can't wait to implement the ideas! I've already done the rhythm relay race!"
- Harriet D.

"The workshop with Sean and Steph was wonderful. Such great ideas!! I already ordered the "Bug Dance" book from Chapters.
Thanks for adding me to the Friends of Orff list."
- Nancy F.

Visit Sean and Steph at www.soundscapemusic.net for free printables, and more fun ideas!
Additionally, Orff Nova Scotia would like to thank Andrew Beazley from Long & McQuade for bringing tons of amazing resources and deals for us to peruse and shop!

We have several members of the  Board of Directors who have retired!
A huge thank you to  Brenda Mathieu, Alison Roe Smith, Laura Johnston,
and Dawn Kerr.
Brenda is one of the original founding members dating from 1978 when we first began as the Maritime Chapter.  She has held several executive/board positions. Her most notable long-term role has been as membership secretary progressing from the 3 page receipts to the automated Reg-on-line program. Brenda has an active retired life but will remain “on call” as a retired Orff NS member.

Alison has been Orff member for over 30 years (also part of the Maritime Chapter) serving as newsletter editor, secretary, and our first website manager. She has also been a clinician for numerous workshops, Children’s Day, and was an HRSB Orffestra assistant. We wish her well as she continues to enjoy a busy retirement.

Laura also had several roles on the executive and as editor, was instrumental in having our newsletter Opus being sent to members on line. She has been a clinician for workshops, Children’s Day, and an HRSB Orffestra assistant.  Laura remains an active supporting member.

Dawn has been our newsletter editor for the past two years as well as a Children’s Day clinician and nutrition organizer at many events. We look forward to her continued support and input as an active member of Orff NS.
Alison, Brenda, Laura, and Dawn were all members of the Ensemble 2014 Conference Committee.  We value their contributions in all things Orff!

Thank you for being on the team!
