Orff Nova Scotia
The Nova Scotia Chapter of Carl Orff Canada is dedicated to providing meaningful professional development opportunities for music educators interested in further developing their understanding of the Orff Approach. Carl Orff was a German composer and educator who devoted much of his life to the development of a philosophy of Music for Children, based on his belief that music is the natural outcome of speech, rhythm and movement. His ideas have had a major influence on music and dance education and have inspired countless educators in many countries. Orff Nova Scotia has a dedicated membership, and the support of many nationally recognized music educators who frequently facilitate our fabulous workshops and levels courses.
